Baron Slew, grandson of famous  Seattle Slew. Baron is part of the Retired Racehorse Training Makeover Project, culminating Oct 5-6, 2013 at Pimloco Racetrackl. I have teamed with his chosen trainer Trish Bosley, and have created this design based on a photo image of Baron.  A significant portion of all sales of Baron's designs [and more objects are forthcoming] will be donated to support Baron's needs.
This is the large medallion, measures 1  5/8 inch round. The piece is attached with brass screws with washers and special end caps on a handwoven straw bag from Bali. This mounting protects the medallion from any slippage  and protects the handbag.
These stunning straw bags are handwoven in Bali. They are woven when the fibers are still green, then placed in a smoke houes to dry. The inside of the bag is just as beautiful as the outside. Shown here is the small oval natural with lid. Tempi also offers the large oval bag with lid. The small measures 10 inches  x 4 inches wide x 6 inches tall. The large measures the same widths and 10 inches tall. The large bag is available in Black and natural. Black makes a fabulous 3 season bag.
Sorry to have so many choices!! We believe you will find this a stunning bag in any choice. This is  our version of a Nantucket Basket, Equestrian Style.  Thank you for supporting Baron Slew!
