Dressage in Motion Bracelet
Tempi is very excited to release a new SPECIAL ADDITION to my designs!!
Years of creating has led to so many different horse designs, especially in the dressage lines, that a vision in my mind pictured combining all these moments together in a bracelet. Once the vision was clear, the next step was the technical execution.
As the pieces began to form more clearly in my vision, I realized the horses needed to be uncluttered and easily visible. The horses needed to be consistent size with a pleasing shape for a bracelet. I wanted to offer options, so the pieces would be "links" where there are a few choices to "build " your favorite movements and in a logical sequence. I would need to secure the links in a fashion that they are also interchangeable without lots of soldering required, as I am often at a horse show and can do some work on site.
Bit by bit I was able to modify horses to approximately the same size. Some faced right, some faced left. Each horse would be performing without a rider or tack. The best "link to accommodate each horse would be an oval with a side attachment. Prototypes were created and cast and metal finished. Next was to "build the bracelet".
This design features oval links. Five links quickly became into an 8-inch bracelet. But the links are also fairly large, so it fits well on my 6.25-inch wrist and hangs a bit lower on the hand, nicely showing the design. I suspect on a tiny wrist and body frame I will need to re-think the fit, but I will get there.
I typically offer different metals for the same design, and this theme needed to carry over to this bracelet. With the prototypes ready, the next step is making molds for each piece. Once that was accomplished, I could start production.
In anxious anticipation, I cast a set of sterling pieces. In a casual conversation, someone already wanted to order one! Another person called to ask about it!! I worked and worked to get pieces cast and finished in each color metal, assembles them and started the photographs and video clips.
Tempi Design is SO proud to present to you the Dressage in Motion Bracelet!! This bracelet will debut at Dressage at Devon Show in September, 2026. Pre orders will be accepted on a limited basis and I do suspect this will be a limited edition design, made to order.
The bracelet is available in all Sterling Silver, our ever popular Rose Bronze, and for you gold lovers, a Brass Jewelry Alloy. If you are feeling creative, you may mix the metals and choose a 2 tone look with Sterling and Rose, or Sterling and Brass, AND you may choose "buld" your own bracelet by choosing the horses and what sequence they are placed !!!!
