Pharaoh's Horses Buckle The famous painting by John Frederick Herring, circa 1865, sold about 20 years ago for 1.5 mil.
Our family was fortunate to have a pocket watch and fob [heirloom] with this relief on it, and my aunt, now 98, handed these to me in 2003 and asked me to do something with it.
The Pharaoh's Horses line became my signature series which launched Tempi Design Studio. The raised relief of 3 galloping Arabian horses with manes flying I now know by heart!
Recently I was asked about a buckle with this design and realized I didn't have it! So, now I do! This buckle measures 2 inches in diameter and fits a 1 1/2 inch leather belt. This one I will add to my own personal collection. Check out our Leather Page for belt options.
